
ffrancesca is a dream project by Fernanda Carlovich and Fernanda Partida Ochoa, two Latina art workers who desire to expand their cultural practice in the Bay Area. ffrancesca is a space of freedom to experiment and a platform to collaborate with local creatives and elevate their voices.
Fernanda Partida Ochoa is a researcher, curator, and arts organizer with over a decade of experience. Originally from Guadalajara, Mexico, she holds a degree in History and Art History from Universidad de Guadalajara and an MA in Museum Studies from the University of San Francisco. Currently, she is the Project Manager for Collections at SFMOMA. Fernanda’s work focuses on exploring museums, archives, collections, and culinary traditions as spaces for cultural interaction through interdisciplinary approaches.
Fernanda Carlovich is an architect from Sao Paulo, Brasil, who has dedicated her professional and academic experience to culture in the form of buildings, exhibitions, and research. From her first internship with Collective EXYZT, to her current role as Exhibition Designer at SFMOMA, she’s been involved with the fascinating task of conceiving, researching, producing, fabricating, and designing exhibitions.
